Volunteer opportunities
Events and collections
We have some fantastic opportunities for volunteers to get involved at local community events and to help us fundraise with our valuable collection days.Â
In the space of a few hours, the doctors and nurses at Katharine House Hospice can give a great deal of care to a dying person and their loved ones. This could include providing vital medicines or simply bringing comfort and specialist palliative care at the toughest time – in our hospice, in their own home, in hospital or in a care home.
However, to keep providing our essential frontline healthcare services, we need your help. Could you give some time to do something special to help support Katharine House Hospice to provide these essential services?
Check out this page for details about what’s coming up.

Volunteer FAQs
If you're volunteering with a friend
We look for two volunteers to fill each available time slot. If there are two of you volunteering together, you will each need to fill in a form. There’s an opportunity to say who you would like to collect with.
If you're volunteering for more than one collection day or event
There is a separate form for each collection day and event. We’ve kept the information that we’re collecting from you to a minimum, so that if you are kindly offering your time for more than one day, it shouldn’t take up too much of your time to fill in more than one form.Â
Each time you finish filling in a form you will be returned to this page so you can continue to the next form.
