Front reception volunteer – weekends
A perfect opportunity to build your customer service skills, meet amazingly inspiring people, while working at the heart of the hospice.
The role
As a reception volunteer you will offer a warm and sensitive welcome to visitors and callers to Katharine House, greeting people arriving at the hospice and answering and directing phone calls.
You are the face of Katharine House and you may be the first contact someone has with the hospice. Â
Your main role is to welcome patients, their families and visitors who you will briefly meet and who are the responsibility of the nursing staff. You will also welcome visitors for all business teams.Â
This role is subject to a DBS check.
