We’ve been chosen as BRITA UK’s charity of the year

The hospice was selected by the employees in BRITA UK’s headquarters in Bicester for the third year running.

The staff at the Bicester office have supported the hospice through employee fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering and providing the hospice with gifts in kind. In total, the hospice has received over £42,000 from BRITA over the past six years.

Throughout the charity of the year partnership the team hope to raise £10,000 to support core costs for the hospice. The BRITA staff are set to take part in various fundraising events during 2026 and have already confirmed sponsorship of the Santa Fun Run in December. In previous years, the team have taken part in a Snowdon trek, a skydive, Oxford Half Marathon and a 24-hour pool tournament to raise vital funds for the hospice.

Sue Blank, Corporate Engagement Officer at Katharine House Hospice said, “We are very thankful for the ongoing support that BRITA provides to Katharine House. Without partnerships like these, we wouldn’t be able to keep our hospice running, so we are looking forward to working with the team for another year.”
