Open Gardens event terms and conditions

Thank you for supporting our Open Gardens and raising vital funds for Katharine House Hospice. We are here to support you in your fundraising. Please read the following carefully.

As a participant in this event, I agree to:

Use official Open Gardens posters, leaflets and signage, which display the Katharine House Hospice logo and registered charity number.
Refer to the Open Gardens as being ‘in support of Katharine House’ and not on behalf of Katharine House, as this means you do not represent the charity.
Only use advertising and fundraising materials provided by Katharine House Hospice. (Please seek permission to use our logo for any other materials or templates not supplied by Katharine House and only use the ‘in support of Katharine House Hospice’ logo, where agreed.)
Pay all money raised within one month of my Open Garden. (In law, you will be a trustee of any funds raised and must ensure that all admissions and refreshments receipts from your event are paid to Katharine House Hospice. You must inform potential donors if any amount or percentage of the funds you raise will not be paid to us, for example when proceeds are being split with another charity.)
Carry out a safety assessment for my Open Garden event and ensure all helpers are briefed and adequately supervised. Ensure my event and any third parties are fully insured.
Inform Katharine House Hospice at the earliest possible opportunity if I have to cancel an event due to any circumstances.

As a participant in this event, I agree that:

Katharine House Hospice is in no way liable for any claim that may arise from this event.
Katharine House Hospice shall not be liable for any injury or loss that might occur as a result of this event.
Any information and photos provided by me in connection with Katharine House Hospice events may be recorded and used by Katharine House Hospice in accordance with the general data protection regulation.

We would like to receive photographs of your event. If you wish to share them with us, please email them to fundraising@khh.org.uk and we may use them, with your consent, to promote our work in fundraising materials and online on social media.
