Rose to Remember

600 purple roses will form a stunning temporary installation in the hospice gardens from Tuesday 9 June to Sunday 21 June, but you will need to buy your rose ahead of the display.

Buy one of these unique roses and be a part of the display

• Each rose costs £30 to purchase and you will be able to collect them from the hospice or from your local Katharine House Hospice shop after the event at specified times. Every purchase directly supports the work of the hospice. 
• For an additional fee of £10 per rose, we can post your rose to you after the event.

Each rose flower is around 10cm diameter and the length of their stems when in the ground are around 50cm.

Those who dedicate a flower before 1 June will have the name of the person being remembered included on our dedication board, which will be on display at the installation.

To order your rose(s), please scroll to the foot of this page. We have a limited number available, so order yours now. Please note that you do not need to have a connection to the hospice to dedicate a rose. 

Private viewings

The display will be open to those who have purchased a rose for a private viewing on Saturday 13 June 2026  and in the evening of  Thursday 18 June 2026. 

Due to restrictions with car parking and on site, visitors will need to book to attend a timed session. You are welcome to bring friends and family members. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome. Members of hospice staff and bereavement team will be present.

Rose to Remember dedication page

We have set up a virtual Rose to Remember dedication page where you can add a personal tribute and photograph of your loved ones. Throughout the event, there will be a link to this page on our website.

When will I receive my rose?

You can choose to collect your rose from the hospice, a Katharine House Hospice shop or be posted to you.

Collecting from the hospice

The collection times at the hospice are as follows:

• Tuesday 23 June: 3-7pm
• Saturday 27 June: 10am-1pm
• Tuesday 7 July: 3-5pm

You don’t need to book a collection slot – just come during any of these times and a rose will be ready for you. We ask that you please let us know in advance if you are unable to make these times.

Collecting from a Katharine House Hospice shop

If you choose the option to collect from your local Katharine House Hospice shop, these will be available to collect from Wednesday 1 July. 

Delivery by post

Alternatively, for an additional £10 we can post your rose to you after the display. The roses will be packaged and distributed the week commencing 22 June. Please note that your rose will not fit through a letterbox.
