Employee and match fundraising
Support your employees with their charity fundraising by encouraging them to get involved or by matching their fundraising efforts, pound for pound.
Employee fundraising
If you do not have an official existing charity partner, then employees might like to arrange their own charity fundraising, event or activity, or they might like to get involved in one of our events or supporter campaigns, such as care for a cuppa.
Fundraising within a team at work can be great fun, boost morale and be a great excuse to bring everyone together (perhaps even including family and friends!). Whichever way you and your employees decide to fundraise, we would love to hear more so that we can offer a little support by way of guidance and resources and perhaps even one of our volunteer Community Ambassadors to attend the event or a meeting.

Match funding
Boost your employees’ charitable donations with matched giving.
Matched giving (also known as match funding) gives your employees the chance to boost their fundraising since their employer matches the money they’ve raised. Some companies offer this on a pound-for-pound basis, while others will specify the amount they’re prepared to give.
Matching funds for your employees’ charitable activities is a great way to increase employee engagement, by showing support for the charities they care about.
Matching employees’ charitable activities can lead to improved staff productivity and loyalty, as well as boosting an employer’s public perception.
You could match your employees fundraising ÂŁ1 for ÂŁ1 to double the impact of their support for any of the following ideas:
- fundraising
- donating via an online platform such as Give As You Earn, Just Giving or through Payroll Giving
- donating of goods to our charity shops (our retail team can provide a letter with information about how much was raised from donations, if employees provide contact details when donating).
