Sponsorship opportunities
Discover our range of exciting opportunities for businesses to sponsor and support Katharine House Hospice.
At Katharine House Hospice, we have a range of exciting opportunities for businesses to sponsor.
From full event sponsorship, to sponsoring one of our Christmas cards, we have something for every business, big, small and for those in between.
By supporting the hospice through sponsorship, your business will help cover the costs of our events and merchandise, which means that more money raised through sales and fundraising goes directly back into the hospice, supporting people at a time when they need it most. It also creates brand awareness of your business within the community and you will be associated with a much-loved charity.
If you are interested in any of the opportunities listed below or simply want to find out more, please contact us at fundraising@khh.org.uk or call 01295 816484 and ask for Sue Blank.

Catering sponsorship
Once a month we offer the opportunity for a business to support our incredible catering team through sponsorship. Our catering team not only provide three meals a day for patients in our Inpatient Unit, they also prepare food for special occasions, such as weddings, birthday celebrations and significant milestones like golden wedding anniversaries.
However, providing this service comes at a cost and we need around £200,000 every year to cover the costs of ingredients, and the staff to keep our patients fed with their favourite food – an average of 192 meals a week. Can your business sponsor our catering team and help us provide this vital service to our hospice users?
Christmas cards
We start planning for Christmas in January at Katharine House, and that’s because we sell over 10,000 packs of cards every year! Our cards are available to buy from September from any of our six shops, at the hospice, at selected local retailers, on our website, our eBay shop and via our mail-order catalogue. By sponsoring one of our card designs, your business name and logo will be seen by thousands of people in the local community and further afield.

Open Gardens
Every year, spring, summer, autumn and winter, we invite people in the local area to open their gardens to the public in return for a small entrance fee. Guests are free to wander around the beautiful gardens, allotments and even arboretums and enjoy a slice of cake and a beverage during their visit.
The campaign has run for many years and has always been very popular with supporters of all ages in the local community. We invite local businesses to get involved by becoming an event sponsor of this popular campaign.
The Rose Magazine and e-news
The Rose magazine is sent to over 8,000 supporters twice a year, in the spring and autumn, and it is available at various fundraising and community events throughout the year. It is also available online and sent to over 6,000 supporters via email.
With stories from patients and families as well as key events for the diary and hospice updates, this is a popular read. By sponsoring a page, you will help us to cover the costs of producing and sending out the magazine but also be seen by thousands of readers.
Download previous editions of The Rose magazine
Our e-newsletter is sent to over 6,200 supporters 12 times a year. It provides them with updates about the hospice, how their support is making a difference and stories about our patients, staff, volunteers and fundraisers in the community. It also keeps our supporters up to date with all our fantastic events and campaigns and how they can help support their local hospice.
Do you want to be part of our popular e-newsletter and help support the hospice at the same time by becoming a sponsor?

Pace Around the World
Pace Around the World is our exciting virtual challenge where participants work together to collectively ‘travel’ the distance around the globe, passing through many milestone, by logging their miles however they choose – walking, running, cycling, swimming, or any other movement that counts! Every mile recorded helps move our team further along the global route, and everyone can take part at their own pace, from any location. It’s a fun, flexible way to stay active, connect with others, and support Katharine House Hospice while we make our way around the world together.
We have an opportunity for a headline sponsor as well as milestone sponsors, who will be celebrated as the team reach well–known destinations around the world.
Rose to Remember
Rose to Remember is our summer remembrance event, which will be held at the beautiful grounds of Katharine House between 9 and 21 June 2026. This event has been inspired by the challenges around bereavement and our wish to support people with their grief. It will provide an opportunity for our community to celebrate and remember the lives of those sadly lost.
This special occasion will see loved ones remembered with a beautiful display in the Katharine House gardens, consisting of metal roses, each one crafted by British Ironworks especially for Katharine House Hospice. Each rose will be dedicated to the life and memory of someone special.
We invite businesses to support the event by becoming a full event sponsor.

Katharine House raffles
Throughout the year we hold two raffles, one in the spring and one in the autumn. Our raffles are very popular among our supporters and each year raise up to £60,000 for the hospice. The booklets are sent out to over 4,000 supporters and raffle tickets can also be purchased on the Katharine House website. We are looking for a local business to sponsor our raffles to help cover the costs of printing and distribution. If you are unable to be a sponsor, could you donate a prize?
Volunteer Mix and Mingle
Every year, we rely on the support of around 500 volunteers, including those who provide invaluable time and expertise in the hospice itself, help maintain our garden, give comfort and support through our bereavement and companion services and support our fundraising efforts through the shops, events and the charity office.
Without the support of these amazing people, we simply would not be able to function. Therefore, to show our appreciation and gratitude, we hold two thank you events, one in the summer and one at Christmas. In order to give them the party they deserve, we need support from the local business community to help cover the costs, could that be you?

Schools Santa Run
During December, more than 10,000 students at schools across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties, pop on their festive garb and take part in a running challenge to raise funds for the hospice. By becoming the event sponsor, your business will help us reach schools and communities across the area, enabling thousands of children to learn about hospice care and how they can make a difference.
Lights of Love
Our annual Lights of Love event brings the community together to remember those we have lost. This special remembrance evening will be held on Thursday 3 December 2026. This is always an important moment in the year. Coping with the loss of someone you love is hard at the best of times, but for many, the time leading up to Christmas can be particularly difficult.
This special remembrance event is open to everyone in the community and encourages people to come together, regardless of background, to honour and celebrate the lives of those they have lost. We invite local businesses to support this special event by becoming an event sponsor.

Banbury Christmas Tractor Run
Get involved with the most anticipated Christmas event in Oxfordshire … the famous Banbury ChristmasTractor Run!
Thousands of supporters come out to watch the procession of 100 tractors, all brightly lit and sounding their horns as they spread Christmas joy along the way! The route starts in Barford St Michael and continues through North Oxfordshire villages and South Bar Street in Banbury.
Like previous years, we will be looking for businesses to support the event via sponsorship of a tractor. You can register your interest now, so you will be first to hear when sponsorship opens in the autumn.
Tree-cycle scheme
This popular scheme launched in 2021 and has been growing each year! It’s a simple concept – we ask that people make a donation to Katharine House Hospice and, in return, the hospice arranges for their Christmas trees to be collected from their homes in January, to be chipped and recycled. Each year we invite businesses to be the event sponsor of this environmentally friendly campaign.

Christmas support
At Katharine House, we do everything we can to make Christmas special for our patients, their loved ones and our supporters.
Every year, at the start of December, we light up the hospice building and trees with Christmas lights to mark the start of the festive season. We have a ‘Christmas Light Switch on’ and enjoy a mince pie to two! Due to lack of funds, we need support from a business to help cover the costs of getting the hospice lit up for Christmas. Can you help?
