BRITA makes KHH their local charity partner in 2026
We are thrilled that BRITA has chosen Katharine House Hospice as their local charity partner for their Bicester office for a third consecutive year. The team in Bicester has supported the hospice for many years and over this time has donated an incredible £42,943.
The relationship between BRITA and Katharine House is a true partnership, supporting the hospice in various ways, including employee fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering and providing the hospice with gifts in kind.
The staff at Bicester have taken part in many fundraising events over the years to raise vital funds for the hospice, including our Santa Fun Run, a 24-hour pool tournament and a number of Golf Days. The team also love a challenge!
In August 2024, a team of six trekked up the spectacular Snowdonian mountain range in Wales, where they battled the wind and rain at the top of the mountain, but raised over £1,000 for the hospice and had the most amazing experience as a team. The following year, a team of eight took on a skydive to raise money for Katharine House and ticked something off the bucket list.
They have also taken part in the Oxford Half twice and, in 2025, Lily and Cal took on the challenge, with Cal dressing up as a giant water droplet called BRITAny to take on the 13.1-mile run (read Cal’s story to find out how they got on).

“It was such a challenging and rewarding experience, as it was my first run ever longer than 10k! It made it even more worthwhile knowing that the money raised was going to a great charity like Katharine House Hospice.” Cal
BRITA’s gifts in kind
Many businesses support the hospice by providing gifts in kind, saving the hospice around £50,000 each year and helping us to provide the little extras to patients, staff and supporters that we simply cannot afford. Throughout our partnership with BRITA, they have provided free BRITA filtered water bottles to our Community Nursing team, plus our Oxford Half runners and to every cyclist who took part in London to Paris in September 2025, keeping everyone hydrated.

The team at the Bicester office also understand the value of volunteering and have used their volunteer days to support the hospice at our events, including the annual Christmas Wrap at the Castle Quay in Banbury and our Tractor Run. The hospice would not be able to operate without all of our wonderful and dedicated volunteers and we love having extra help from our corporate supporters.
Over the years, BRITA has also supported Katharine House through sponsorship, helping us to cover the costs of our events and campaigns. The business has sponsored our Christmas cards and a pocket on our 2025 London to Paris cycling jerseys.
“We’re excited to partner with Katharine House Hospice for another year to support the amazing work they do for people in our community. The work they do is inspiring and we look forward to continuing to build on our partnership through 2026.” David Hall, Managing Director, BRITA
Looking forward to 2026
Throughout the charity of the year partnership in 2026, the team hopes to raise £10,000 to support core costs for the hospice. The BRITA staff are set to take part in various fundraising events this year and have already confirmed sponsorship of the Santa Fun Run in December.
Thank you to everyone at BRITA and the team in Bicester for your ongoing support!
